My Project

My students are bright, creative, and full of potential. They come from diverse backgrounds and many face challenges outside the classroom that no child should have to navigate. Despite this, they show up every day ready to learn, grow, and express themselves. I teach 9th grade English in a Title I school, and many of my students don’t have access to basic school supplies. Yet they are eager to write their stories, dive into literature, and become confident communicators.

This project is about giving my students the tools they need to succeed.

I’m requesting essential classroom supplies to support reading, writing, and creativity every single day. These items will not only help my students stay organized and focused—they will help them feel seen, valued, and capable.

When students walk into a classroom that is fully stocked, organized, and thoughtfully prepared, they feel respected—and they rise to meet high expectations. These materials are not just "nice to have"—they're essential to creating a safe and effective learning space. Your donation will directly support over 150 students this year, giving them the opportunity to engage more deeply in reading and writing—and to believe in themselves.
