This project is a part of the Hispanic & Latinx Heritage Month celebration because
it supports a Latino teacher or a school where the majority of students are Latino.
My Project
As an educator working with a dedicated group of adult special education students in the Passport Program. Our program helps these young adults gain essential life and work skills to prepare them for their futures. We run a coffee shop as part of our community life skills curriculum, where students develop skills in customer service, teamwork, and business operations.
A color printer would be a valuable resource for our students and our program!
With it, we could create vibrant, engaging menus for our coffee shop, professional "Employee of the Month" certificates to recognize students' hard work, and beautiful programs for our graduation ceremonies. This printer would also enable students to create high-quality resumes, preparing them for post-secondary success with a tool that highlights their talents and accomplishments.
In addition, a color printer would enhance our classroom learning materials, making them more accessible and engaging for students with different learning needs. Having access to resources in color can make a significant difference in comprehension and retention, helping students fully engage with their learning.
Your support in providing a color printer would truly help us create a more supportive, enriching learning environment for these incredible students. Thank you for considering our project!
