My Project

The Best Buddies club at our school plays a vital role in fostering connections and friendships among our students with and without intellectual and developmental disabilities. We believe that creative expression is a powerful tool for building relationships and boosting self-esteem. We plan to use the Cricut to enhance our club's activities and events in the following ways:

Promoting Inclusivity: The Cricut machine will be used to create a wide range of craft projects that will encourage collaboration among our club members, fostering friendships and mutual respect.

Enhancing Self-Esteem: By showcasing their creative talents and participating in crafting activities, students with IDD will gain a sense of accomplishment, helping boost their self-esteem.

Educational Opportunities: Workshops and training sessions on how to use the Cricut machine will provide valuable learning experiences for all club members, enhancing their skills and promoting lifelong learning.

Community Engagement: The projects created with the Cricut machine will be shared with the school community, promoting awareness of the Best Buddies mission and our commitment to inclusion.

Sustainability: The Cricut machine will be a long-term asset for the Best Buddies club, enabling us to continue our inclusive initiatives for years to come.

The impact of your funding will extend beyond our club, creating a more inclusive and compassionate school environment that celebrates diversity and friendship.
