Celebrating Hispanic & Latinx Heritage Month

This project is a part of the Hispanic & Latinx Heritage Month celebration because it supports a Latino teacher or a school where the majority of students are Latino.

My Project

The addition of bicycles to our classroom will have a profound impact on my students' learning and personal development. For many of my students, access to bikes will not only provide them with a means of physical activity but also promote a sense of exploration broadening their horizons. Biking will encourage teamwork, responsibility, and perseverance, fostering skills that extend beyond the classroom.

The bicycles will also provide an engaging and fun way to integrate physical activity into their learning, improving focus and reducing stress, which can directly enhance their academic performance.

With bikes, my students can take part in structured outdoor activities, and participate in local biking events. The goal of this project is to empower my students with the tools they need to succeed both inside and outside the classroom.

This project will directly impact historically underfunded classrooms.
