Celebrate Black Teachers and Students

This project is part of the Black History Month celebration because it supports a Black teacher or a school where the majority of the students are Black.

My Project

In today’s rapidly evolving society, technology plays a pivotal role in education and is essential to future success. Despite the lack of technology at our school, the staff at our school are dedicated to fostering academic excellence and preparing our students for success in this increasingly digital world.

The acquisition of iPads and tablets will revolutionize the learning experience and equip students with the necessary skills and tools needed to thrive in the 21st century.

The benefits of incorporating tablets into classrooms are manifold. These devices will create limitless possibilities for interactive and engaging educational experiences for our scholars that will ignite the Five C’s of STEM: Critical Thinking, Creativity, Communication, Collaboration, and Character Development. Tablets will also allow our educators to create a more inclusive learning environment, tailoring instruction to individual student needs. With access to a range of educational apps, interactive eBooks, and multimedia resources, students can explore subjects more in depth, collaborate on projects, and showcase their creativity in diverse and meaningful ways.

By providing our scholars with hands-on experience with iPads and tablets, our scholars will have access to cutting-edge technology that will equip them with the digital literacy skills they need to succeed in college, careers, and beyond!
