Celebrating Hispanic & Latinx Heritage Month
This project is a part of the Hispanic & Latinx Heritage Month celebration because
it supports a Latino teacher or a school where the majority of students are Latino.
As an elementary school teacher at school situated in a Title I community where 86% of students are Black, Latino, Native American, or Asian, I recognize the profound importance of promoting multicultural understanding and inclusivity within our educational environment. To better serve our diverse student population, I am seeking support to learn Spanish through Babbel, an interactive language learning platform.
By acquiring proficiency in Spanish, I aim to enhance communication with Spanish-speaking students and parents, fostering stronger connections and engagement within our school community.
Through inclusive education practices, I endeavor to provide equitable opportunities for all students, regardless of language background. With your donations, I can begin this transformative journey immediately.
