This project is a part of the Hispanic & Latinx Heritage Month celebration because it supports a Latino teacher or a school where the majority of students are Latino.

My Project

Many high school students face challenges when it comes to maintaining their hair and learning how to apply makeup, often due to a lack of resources or knowledge. Confidence is key during these formative years, and feeling good about one's appearance can make a significant impact on self-esteem and social interactions.

Our students, many of whom come from underprivileged backgrounds, would greatly benefit from having access to styling tools and beauty products that help them care for their hair and practice makeup techniques.

This project aims to provide the tools and guidance needed to build confidence, promote self-expression, and teach important life skills. Your contribution will directly support students by giving them the tools and knowledge to feel good about themselves and embrace their individuality. Together, we can create an environment where every student feels valued, confident, and prepared to face the world
