My Project

Help my elementary students gain access to high-quality Posca brand paint markers, offering a non-toxic alternative to hazardous alcohol-based permanent markers. This initiative aims to foster creativity on various surfaces, enabling students to enhance their artistic skills across multiple levels.

Posca markers, known for their superior quality, provide a safe and vibrant medium for creative expression.

Unfortunately, the cost of these markers often puts them out of reach for students in Title I schools, where budget constraints limit access to high-quality materials. By securing 26 sets of Posca markers, we aim to bridge this gap and provide our students with the tools they need to explore their artistic potential.

The specific items requested will make a substantial difference in our students' learning experiences. With Posca markers, students can engage in special projects throughout the year, expanding their ability to create art on various surfaces. This not only enhances their artistic skills but also encourages a sense of pride and accomplishment in their work.

The primary goal of this project is to ensure that every student in our elementary school has access to high-quality Posca markers for special projects. By doing so, we aim to create a more inclusive and enriching learning environment that promotes creativity and self-expression.

Our students are special because they attend a Title I school in southwest Virginia, situated in a low-income area. Our school serves a diverse community, including a large English Language Learner (ELL) population and a transient student population. Despite facing economic challenges, our students are resilient, creative, and eager to learn. Providing them with the opportunity to work with high-quality art materials like Posca markers will empower them to express themselves artistically and unlock their full creative potential. Your support can make a significant impact on their educational journey.
