My Students

I have the privilege of developing relationships with students in 6-8th grade through reading intervention. Because of the nature of my class, developing motivation and relationships go a long way.

My students amaze me in more ways than I can count, and they often show me we're better when we learn from one another.

They deserve a teacher who is empowered and engaged. One who has spent some face-to-face time learning from her own PLN- some of the best in education today!

My Project

The Empower Educators Conference brings together some of the most respected and innovative educators together for this 2-day conference. I cannot begin to say enough about the inspiration they each bring to the table, the innovative ideas about education and what it means to be a teacher in today's world, and the outside-the-box thinking that comes from each of them. I have been inspired by their books, their podcasts, projects they've been a part of, and personally knowing one.

I can honestly say- they are the real deal in education.

I can think of no better way to wrap up the summer of 2019 and enter the new school year than to attend this conference!
