My students are Pre-K, special needs students who are full of energy, love, and life. They are talkative, love to learn, build, and explore. They also enjoy dressing up and cooking in creative play.
Our children have a wide range of unique talents and abilities that highlight the unique individuals they are, from asking engaging questions to sharing their life experiences!
They are such a joy, and I love each of them. You will not be disappointed supporting this wonderful group of children.
Teaching and re-enforcing social/emotional skill development is a daily lesson in my classroom. We review emotions every day using our emotion cards and we determine how we are feeling during circle time. The students also have a "How are you feeling today?" poster on the wall to refer to throughout the day.
This Emojis kit is an amazing tool to further engage my students in discussing their feelings and building upon their social/emotional development.
And this kit features a wide variety of resources to accomplish this. Having emojis around the room will also encourage students to have peer-to-peer conversations during small group learning and centers time.
The students choose stickers throughout the day for their writing, math and ELA lessons, and just because so I included additional stickers and also resources to celebrate my students' birthdays.
