My Project

Our students are energetic and budding scientists - each fifth-grader completes a STEM project and presents and shares what they learned with the class. are learning to focus on Power Standards and track their progress which helps clarify the learning objectives. These supplies will help teachers and students organize the materials in their data binders for the power standards in math and language arts.

This project will help our classes by providing and/or replacing headphones to help students research STEM projects, complete daily Math learning activities, and access recorded writing lessons while working on their Chromebooks.

Many of these supplies will help us keep a well-organized room. The whiteboard supplies will help our math talks as students show their learning.

The hole punch and staplers will help us work as a team to organize student data.

The school-friendly playing cards will be used in weekly math rotations helping students interact in game-like ways to increase their math-facts fluency.

The Teachers Pay Teachers card will be used to customize enrichment learning groups for reading when students have completed the 95% skills and need enrichment intervention. As we regroup the entire grade for math interventions, the TPT resources will help us seek specific support activities for the 5th-grade math skills based on how the students test in our two-week-long WIN intervention groups (What I Need). If we need extra review or enrichment lessons, having the TPT funds available will help us respond to student needs quickly.

By replacing broken or worn supplies, we can maintain an orderly and well-functioning class - helping students to learn and grow.

These are supplies that will benefit all of our fifth-graders and their teachers.
