This project is a part of the Hispanic & Latinx Heritage Month celebration because it supports a Latino teacher or a school where the majority of students are Latino.

My Project

Compared to others, this is a very simple project. In much of our advanced repertoire we come across many interesting parts in the percussion but have always had to make do with using a replacement or similar sounding instrument. The more the students have grown, the more they begin to realize that its not the real deal when playing their parts. Some have even gone as far to begin to understands why the composer has decided on certain instruments over others. So with this project, please consider helping my students in exploring the growing world of percussion.
