When the materials arrived, my students and I were so excited to unpack everything and put it to use right away. I began using the FriXion erasable pens to help students revise their work and complete their Tutorial Request Forms. The Post-it notes have been perfect for annotating readings, marking key questions, and helping students track their thinking during Cornell note–taking.\r\nOur AVID student government has especially loved the magnetic whiteboard contact paper. They use it to post reminders, announcements, and upcoming events. We placed the whiteboard chart on the magnetic door for easy access and visibility, which has helped keep all AVID scholars informed and connected. The Sharpie flip-chart markers have also been incredibly useful for group activities, posters, and an visuals for different activities.\r\nYour generosity has helped create a more organized, collaborative, and engaging environment for all four of our AVID classes. Many had never played before, and they couldn't wait to give it a try. One especially memorable moment was our very first game—students were cheering each other on, laughing, and even teaching their peers how to serve. The joy and energy on the court that day was unforgettable, and it set the tone for what this club is becoming: a place for fun, connection, and teamwork.\r\n\r\nThe printer has also been a wonderful addition. It has made my time at work much more efficient and has allowed me to provide so many more engaging printables and handouts for the students. Having easy access to these resources helps me create a more supportive and interactive environment.\r\n\r\nWe also love the window clings—they give the counseling room a sense of privacy while adding such a warm, welcoming touch to the space. Students have commented on how comfortable and inviting the room feels, which makes it easier for them to relax, open up, and connect.\r\n\r\nLooking ahead, we plan to continue growing the pickleball club, offering students opportunities to practice regularly, play matches, and even challenge teachers or other grade levels in the future. The students are so thankful and can't wait to see how the club develops—it has truly given them something new and positive to look forward to at school.\r\n\r\nYour contributions have gone far beyond supplies—they have created experiences, improved efficiency, and transformed spaces where students feel safe, supported, and excited to learn.
