My Project

My classroom has a diverse demographic. It is my goal to have the learning environment reflect the diversity of my kiddos, especially the classroom library. That is why representation in literature matters.

Having the Nearpod interactive resource library, and a Reading Station for my ELL students, will support diversity and inclusion through literature for children in my classroom.

Academic progress flourishes when children feel acknowledged and included. With equipment and educational resources which will aid in making connections to themselves, it is my hope that language will not be a barrier that hinders my childrens' love of reading.
