My Project

The requested items for my high school social studies classroom align seamlessly with the CSDE ESSER priorities. In the past year I switched schools and I am trying to establish a comfortable, supportive, and creative environment for students. Multicultural and rainbow crayons, along with VR headsets, provide diverse and immersive learning experiences, fostering academic engagement and renewal. The inclusion of standing desks and ergonomic chairs contributes to student enrichment by promoting a healthy and dynamic classroom environment. Fidget toys address the social and emotional well-being of students by offering a discreet outlet for stress relief. Bulletin board borders and sentence strips cater specifically to our rapidly growing Multilingual Learner (MLL) population, enhancing language acquisition through visual aids and words walls. Breathing calm strips and lamps serve as tools for emotional regulation and creating a calming atmosphere, positively impacting the mental health of both students and staff. Clipboards for centers facilitate flexible learning spaces, contributing to academic flexibility. Overall, the decor elements contribute to a positive and inclusive classroom environment, aligning with the holistic approach advocated by the CSDE ESSER initiative.
