This project is a part of the Hispanic & Latinx Heritage Month celebration because it supports a Latino teacher or a school where the majority of students are Latino.

My Project

My students received violins to use from Donors Choose recently. My students are from low income background, and I want to give them a chance to study violin without having to worry about the financial burden of purchasing these instruments and equipment. In order for my students to have the opportunity to learn and succeed, I'm asking donors to contribute to purchasing books, folders, paper, music stands, and strings.

My 6th graders are very eager to begin their string playing endeavors.
