Elementary Music in Morning Meetings and After School!

Help me give my students music education! At our school, students in K-5 don't have a music class! These items will help them learn about music and give them a chance to make their own!

My Project

Music class was always a favorite growing up. I love getting the chance to express myself by singing, dancing, and playing an instrument. The longer I teach, the more I see that in the students in my school. They do not get the option to take a music class until grade 6.

I believe that learning how to read and play music is a fundamental part of a well-rounded education.

Getting a head start on the basics, can help students achieve more while in school. When learning how to read music, about different genres and different musicians, they can take that knowledge and apply it to what they are reading in class to provide a deeper understanding.

These items will help me incorporate some music education into our daily morning meetings and an after school club. It will give students the opportunity to express themselves and try something new.
