This project is a part of the Hispanic & Latinx Heritage Month celebration because it supports a Latino teacher or a school where the majority of students are Latino.

My Project

Teaching sculpture to all grades is an important part of any art curriculum. I would love to help my students experience different types of clay and sculpting. This includes model magic clay and also creating sculptures with cardboard and toilet paper. These materials will help me succeed in that.

Model magic is something that is used in the art room every year, and needs to be replenished!

As a new art teacher this next year I don't have a surplus of supplies to depend on and am hoping to get some great new consumable and reusable supplies for my classroom and all of my students.
