This project is part of the Black History Month celebration because it supports a Black teacher or a school where the majority of the students are Black.

My Students

The students in my class come from many different ethnic backgrounds. Almost all of the students receive free lunch. My students are little explorers. Everyday they come to school eager to learn and reach for the stars.

My third graders are bright, bubbly, energetic, and they mean the world to me.

Many of my students don’t come to school wearing the latest name brands. They wear what they have no matter what not letting the outside world effect their learning.

My Project

I think it's clear that technology is the new wave. My students need computers to complete some educational programs in school. Currently the computers we are using are constantly logging off or too old to keep up with the new programs updates. With all of my students having access to a working computer they will be able to complete programs and testing for math and ELA. I will also be able to put my students in specific grouping. They will also be able to work on projects.

Your generous donation to our project will improve our 3rd grade classroom by building a stronger use with computers.

With spending less time trying to trouble shoot and more time on mandatory programs I know I will see my students state scores rise high.
