This project is part of the Black History Month celebration because it supports a Black teacher or a school where the majority of the students are Black.
My Students
I teach some pretty amazing fourth graders. My students are blessed to be exposed to the Fine Arts and it truly is a pleasure watching these little minds show off their talents on stage. My favorite thing about my students is their eagerness to learn, their curiosity to dig deeper, and their ability to utilize 21st century skills. My students are worthy of education at the highest quality, and I strive to give all that I can to them daily.
My Project
Since before I became an educator, I have always dreamed of the opportunity to attend a professional development training to the infamous Ron Clark Academy. I wish to be able to observe classrooms, collaborate with educators, and network among my grade level and content area. With this project, I am looking for the opportunity to focus on my content at the Ron Clark Signature Series ELA PD Day.
The Ron Clark Academy is a school that inspires, energizes, and trains teachers from all over the nation.
An opportunity to attend a Signature Series training event will impact my students for many years. Finding ways to incorporate creative thinking, music, and PBL to my English instruction will refresh my teacher soul and engage my 4th graders. The Ron Clark Academy is definitely a key to impacting my students in meaningful ways that they'll remember for life!
