This project is a part of the Hispanic & Latinx Heritage Month celebration because it supports a Latino teacher or a school where the majority of students are Latino.

My Project

My students are sweet and inquisitive. They are around eight years old and just getting to the point where they have learned how to read and are becoming stronger readers. They are venturing out of leveled readers and exploring books on different topics that interest them. I like to have a wide assortment of reading materials available to them in the classroom. They keep a book in their desk at all times to be able to pull out and read between assignments or during quiet reading time.

These rolling book carts with placeholder tabs will make browsing the classroom library a breeze.

Students will be able to take books back to their seats and return them with ease.
