Educational and Motivational Bookmarks For My Students

My students need a variety of bookmarks to keep their place, for motivation and to add fun to the curriculum.

My Students

Bookmarks are needed by all readers because they serve a purpose. Getting a bookmark in Earth science class will add to the excitement and fun.

I teach Earth Science to energetic, hard-working freshmen.

My class is one my students must pass in order to graduate. I want my students to look forward to their science class so I am including various activities to help them to be more involved in the class. Budgets are limited and can only go so far when purchasing items for the entire school.

My Project

Throughout the semester, I want to give my students a small gift to grab their interest, help them to remember the information covered and to motivate them to keep an interest in all we do. I want to introduce certain topics such as weather, oceans and space with an appropriate bookmark. Some of the bookmarks are educational and other are motivational. The students will receive bookmarks about the scientific theory and about how to improve their reading. Some bookmarks show the beauty of our earth. Some of the bookmarks are for the students to design themselves. These student designed bookmarks will cover an aspect of safety which we cover throughout the semester. Distributing these bookmarks will be geared toward adding motivation and interest to the class. When the students are motivated and interested, learning definitely follows.

Adding fun and excitement to the classroom can have nothing but positive results.
