Help me give my students supplies to create ecosystem dioramas to learn about plants, animals, the environment, and how they all interact!

My Project

My students have been researching an ecosystem of their choice. They have been busy taking notes on the plants, animals, climate, location, and threats to their ecosystem. This project has them working not only on science and literacy standards, but also demonstrating the ability to do a collaborative project with a parter that requires them to set goals, stay on task, and work productively.

They have been doing AMAZING so far, and I would love for them to have these supplies to create dioramas to showcase their learning.

They will also be required to have a written report and then present their projects to the class. Having a project that they are proud of will help give some of them the confidence that they need to speak in front of their classmates. While I will also be asking for the students to bring in things that they could add to their dioramas, the clay will allow them to create animals/trees/coral/etc and put their imagination to work. They will then be able to paint those creations once they have dried. The fake moss and leaves can also be used.
