This project is a part of the Hispanic & Latinx Heritage Month celebration because it supports a Latino teacher or a school where the majority of students are Latino.

My Students

Do you remember as a child going on a trip and getting lost because of lack of uniformity? How about performing an assembly, but the outfit just didn't fit the bill? Or how about you wanted to design a shirt for the senior trip, you had sketch in mind, but just didn't know how to bring it to life. Well having a Cricut Maker with an Easy Press will assist me with creating a theme inspiring items where the kids will feel special and amazed to see how their art work can now become wearable.

This school year, I have 60 inquiring minds in my fourth grade Math class that is stationed in the Bronx in a high poverty area.

Materials are quite scarce in our building and therefore, most materials that I need, I have to purchase myself or write a grant to receive them.

My Project

The Cricut machine and the Easy Press work hand in hand. Having them both will allow our classroom to be one of a kind. Both these 2 machines will allow us to bring our imagination to life.

Investing in our class Cricut and our Easy Press project will allow us to create fashion design t-shirts, sweaters or items for special performances, assemblies, class trips and so much more.

It will also allow us to personalize our scholars items, so that their belongings won't get stolen, or if it is taken, we will know, guess why? Because engraved will be their name.
