This project is part of the Black History Month celebration because it supports a Black teacher or a school where the majority of the students are Black.

My Project

My room is filled with florescent lights. It can be very harsh on the eyes. My kids often ask to keep the lights off, however, this isn't practical either. Hanging up lights around the ceiling would give me the option to have lights that are easy on my kids eyes, but still provide enough light for us to be able to see. This will ease some of the headaches that my students get.

The batteries will be used in our Snap Circuit kits - the batteries drain pretty quickly and then the projects don't work, which is frustrating for my students.
