Easy Access to Materials for Kids in Speech!

Help me give my students easy access to materials they love, such as sensory bins, book companions, and interactive books. I work in a small space, and I have a lot of stuff for them!

My Project

I have put some resources in my cart that allow me to color code by grade for storage and allow students easier access to session materials that they love, while keeping large amounts of stuff organized (i.e. themed materials, interactive books, sensory bins, kinetic sand, Play-Doh, etc). I like to have lots of themed materials, and this will help them stay organized and allow students to access things that they like through the bins and the cart. With the cart, I can pack up student materials and go to different parts of the school to support students with speech language needs, and it would look fine out in my therapy room. By having both closed storage and out in the open storage, themes and materials can rotate in and out of open spaces, allowing students opportunities to explore that are currently infrequently available.

My goal for this project is to organize my room and materials (current and future) to allow students' curiosity and access to the materials drive improved language use and engagement and increase my mobility throughout the school to support students in a wider range of settings.
