My Project

My students have expressed the need for ways to improve their time management skills, organization, and independence. Although student planners have become outdated, I believe that teaching students to use a daily planner can benefit them in many ways.

By using the daily planner, my students will be able to organize their assignments and due dates.

Learning how to use an agenda is a great way to teach organization skills that will last a lifetime. This will give students a sense of independence as they will have access to an agenda to manage their own tasks.

The use of an agenda will also make a difference in student learning as all important information will be placed in one central location for students to reference. This will be particularly helpful for students with ADHD or ADD as they will learn how to make lists and prioritize their tasks effectively.

To further support my students, I would like to add a charging station in the classroom. This will enable them to charge their cellular devices, and as a result, they will see it as a benefit to turn them in during class time. With more phones on the charging station, I expect to have fewer issues with students not turning them in during class time.
