Celebrate Hispanic & Latinx Heritage Month

This project is a part of the Hispanic & Latinx Heritage Month celebration because it supports a Latino teacher or a school where the majority of students are Latino.

My Project

This project will provide a real-life learning activity for our kids that focuses on watching the life cycle of butterflies with real live caterpillars while pairing this with books and activities for learning. We will also learn about how to protect our plant Earth by learning about recycling, reusing, and planting! We will work on planting flowers in one garden bed and herbs in another garden bed where students can then take home the results, draw them in class using magnifying glasses for detailing, and learn the importance of gardening for our planet.

Ms. Ravelo, Bilingual Speech and Language Teacher (they call me Ms. R) will only receive her materials if this project is fully funded by May 26.
