My Project

As we gear up to celebrate Earth Day I would like to enrich our school library with new books about Earth Day and ecology. Gaylord Nelson was a Wisconsin native and he would encourage people to donate to school libraries to make these resources available to the next generation of citizens.

Many of my students come from print poor households where books are not readily available.

The library serves as an important resource to students to be able to check out books for research and recreational reading. These books will not only enhance our school library, but will inspire my students to become better stewards of our neighborhoods, state, country and world.
