This project is a part of the Hispanic & Latinx Heritage Month celebration because it supports a Latino teacher or a school where the majority of students are Latino.

My Project

The students who come to my library love to build and be creative! Problem-solving, designing, and engineering skill-building are very important in middle school. These explorations are a perfect opportunity for them to learn about essential topics, such as issues related to climate, the environment, and space travel. Students who work together to problem-solve build relationships and social skills. In this project, I have requested various LEGO space sets for students to use when researching environmental and space topics in small groups.

These Lego sets allow students to create and play as they learn about the future of space travel.
