This project is a part of the Hispanic & Latinx Heritage Month celebration because it supports a Latino teacher or a school where the majority of students are Latino.

My Project

Imagine trying to concentrate at school while having hunger pains. That is all too common with many of my students. In my classrom, there is a snack bin where students can eat a healthy snack during small group instruction as long it isn't near snack or lunch time. Please help give my students snacks, tissues, and a waffle maker.

Majority of the students at our school come from low income households and many come to school without having breakfast.

In addition to snacks for our snack bin, we also need tissues and are earning a waffle party for those kinder - second grade students who pass our phonics assessment the next trimester.
