Celebrate Hispanic & Latinx Heritage Month

This project is a part of the Hispanic & Latinx Heritage Month celebration because it supports a Latino teacher or a school where the majority of students are Latino.

My Project

With your help, students will be able to bring books home to read and enjoy with their families, creating meaningful shared reading experiences. This is especially important for young learners who are not yet reading independently, as listening to stories helps build vocabulary, language development, comprehension, and early literacy skills. Through repeated exposure to books, students also develop critical thinking skills and a love of reading. The age-appropriate, engaging materials in this project will help create strong literacy foundations and ensure our lending library continues to support students and families at home for many years to come.
