Celebrate Hispanic & Latinx Heritage Month

This project is a part of the Hispanic & Latinx Heritage Month celebration because it supports a Latino teacher or a school where the majority of students are Latino.

My Students

Most of the students at our school come from low income households which can make supplies hard to come by at times. However, this doesn't sell them short or stop them from trying hard to excel in or out of school. Students at CISD have huge hearts, and are more than willing to lend a hand whenever needed. Our school and our students are the best! I love Castleberry!

My Project

With the last project that I did we started anchor charts and the students absolutely love doing them. However, the chart paper can be expensive. Helping me purchase these items will ensure that we can keep making anchor charts as often as we can fit them into our daily instruction. I have also included some earbuds for students who might not have been able to purchase on their own due to low income households. This will allow them to still listen to video tutorials without feeling like they are disrupting the class. Last but not least I included magnets for our academic vocabulary word wall! Hoping to improve academic literacy while also being able to reuse year after year! Thank you for viewing my project!!!
