We are a bilingual Pre-K class. Our class has loving, eager to learn 4 and 5 years old whose first school experience is my classroom. These students, come in with a big smile everyday. Their eyes light up when they learn something new.
Our school is in an industrial part of Houston.
We are a Title I school and our students have limited resources. Almost all the students have free or reduced lunch. My students learn best through play and hands-on experiences.
I am requesting the Snap and Learn Alphabet Alligators so my will see the importance of knowing the lower and uppercase letters. They can work with it during independent learning in stations. It also helps them with their fine motor skills and alligators are fun to play with!
The dry erase boards are essential in my classroom!
The students can sit closer to the board and receive a whole group lesson closer to the teacher! They can see better and write what I am teaching and also they can use their boards to respond to a question. It is also easier for students than a pencil and paper.
