E-Reader to Access Texts

My Students

Because the shelter-at-home order took place days after school dismissal, many of my students were able to bring home their textbooks. However, I did not bring home all the novels needed since teachers were initially told that it was a three week dismissal. With an E-reader, it will allow me to access all works studied, both in English 10 and AP Lit, without having to wait for hard copies of the novels to arrive.

My Project

Having an E-reader will allow me to access novels, texts, and works from home. Since I was not able to grab all the novels from my classroom prior to school dismissal, I had to order hard copy of novels. However, because items that are not considered essential are secondary in shipping, it does not guarantee arrival in the time I need them.

An e-reader will allow me to have constant and immediate access to texts that are engaging for students and to access novels that are currently in the curriculum.
