My Project

I am very excited about having classroom book clubs this year! My students will be choosing the book of their choice between The Handmaid's Tale, Clockwork Orange, Brave New World, and Neverwhere for a dystopian classroom book club.

By having these clubs the student will be able to pick a book of their choosing from 4-6 books which allows them to have a say in what they are learning and help keep them engaged and interested.

These books will also be of different reading levels which helps our students learn at the appropriate level. They will meet in their clubs weekly to discuss their books and complete activities that they have decided on that relate to their novels.
