This project is a part of the Hispanic & Latinx Heritage Month celebration because it supports a Latino teacher or a school where the majority of students are Latino.

My Project

Dr. Shaywitz is a well known author in the area of dyslexia. I am currently in year two of a dyslexia therapist training program and provide dyslexia intervention to students in grades 3-5 at a Title 1 school. I am hoping to have access to this virtual training so I can continue to learn and grow as a dyslexia therapist. I know this will be a great professional development opportunity for me to enhance my knowledge of dyslexia and the instruction I provide to my students. I am also training to a CALT level and this training will also help me prepare for this challenge.
