it supports a Latino teacher or a school where the majority of students are Latino.

My students are amazing dyslexic students. In class they are always motivated learners but distance learning has made intrinsic motivation difficult. They currently need something to work towards. This project will encourage them to continue working hard and reward all their wonderful efforts.
My Project
Our school uses Classdojo to track student behavior. In my class, dojo points are awarded for effort/completion of assignments, participation, demenstration of honorable character traits and good behavior. Points earn them prizes from the prize box.
These incentives keep my students motivated to put their best effort forward on a daily basis.
As we are experiencing distance learning, prizes will be awarded at the beginning of the school year. Incentives chosen in this project target their senses and interests. Students are always involved in prize selection to increase student motivation.
