Dyslexia Decoding Supplies

My Project

I am excited to find some Orton-Gillingham materials to use with some of my students with Dyslexia. The Orton-Gillingham approach is a multisensory phonics technique for remedial reading instruction developed in the early 20th century. It is practiced as a direct, explicit, cognitive, cumulative, and multi-sensory approach.

Other materials will also help support students with Dyslexia and help me keep their work organized.

Highlighters and post-its are great for interactive notebooks and will give some color and dimension to keep students interested. We will all benefit from classroom supplies that keep us organized.
