Celebrate Hispanic & Latinx Heritage Month

This project is a part of the Hispanic & Latinx Heritage Month celebration because it supports a Latino teacher or a school where the majority of students are Latino.

My Project

The manipulative and word play game items chosen, such as the Boggle Classic Game, Bingo Game, Synonyms, Wordplay for Kids, and the Building Fluency Card Bank will give students a hands-on and interactive approach to learning while in rotating studios. It also promotes a deeper understanding of word concepts where dyslexic students often struggle.

The goal of this project is to, make it easier for students with dyslexia to grasp the concept of reading and become more phonologically aware through kinetic learning.

More importantly, the goal is to move middle school students with dyslexia from a traditional way of learning to build skills and strategies that will carry them to the general education classroom.

This project will directly impact historically underfunded classrooms.
