Dynamic Mathematical Learning Environment

My Students

My students represent are amazing! I teach students of all abilities including those who struggled through the previous year of math, students are right on track with their mathematical abilities, and students who are exceeding the norm by taking AP Calculus. My students represent a variety of races, genders, sexual identities, and social economic statuses. I am proud to differentiate my instruction to meet their needs.

The diverse language needs of my students requires that I use my skills as a bilingual educator to teach students in their native tongue where possible.

It is not uncommon for me to teach an entire lesson in English and then spend portions of the end of class answering questions in Spanish.

My Project

The iPad and Apple Pencil will be used daily in my lessons. I will screencast the iPad screen to the front board when we are in-person and will screen share the iPad on Zoom lessons when we are learning virtually.

The clarity and precision the iPad offers will allow students to focus all their attention on the mathematics.

I love the mobile nature of the iPad. I can walk around the room and teach from any location. The camera on the iPad also allows students to share their work with the class.
