This project is a part of the Hispanic & Latinx Heritage Month celebration because it supports a Latino teacher or a school where the majority of students are Latino.

My Project

My students are needing supplies to help them succeed in kindergarten. In the classroom there are 27 students. Oftentimes they are having to share supplies since there are not any extra supplies in the classroom. Students would benefit from having organized shelving to put their folders in when finished with their work, glue, markers, additional books and cleaning supplies to help keep the classroom clean.

Overall, students in this kindergarten class would benefit from having these additional supplies in the classroom.

From learning how to be organized to having extra supplies to help them complete assignments these students would greatly appreciate these additions in the classroom. Students are starting to learn how to take care of their own items and so, it is important that there is enough items for them all to be able to learn.
