My Project

My kindergarteners love to learn while sitting on the carpet! To make this a more dynamic and comfortable environment, especially for writing, I want my young learners to have lap desks. These will allow for them to work more comfortably alone or in small groups while encouraging collaboration and creativity.

My students will be able to set up their own personal learning station.

These lap desks are a great alternative to traditional table and chairs. As my young students are still learning handwriting and other fine motor skills, it is very important for them to have a great space to work on reading, writing, and math skills.

This project will directly impact historically underfunded classrooms.
