My Students

My two classes are full of diverse students that love to learn! Our classroom is like a family.

I have some of the sweetest students that care for each other and want to help each other out.

They never judge each other when they make mistakes and always encourage and lift each other up to keep trying. I teach a wide range of students from a high level to a low level and students with learning disabilities and exceptionalities.

These students show love for Science, and I want to give them as many hands-on materials as I can to help them learn and explore.

My Project

These materials will allow the students to see how germs spread. It will give them a better understanding as to why COVID-19 spread so fast and to so many people.

They will be able to grow bacteria from common places in the classroom in the Petri dishes.

Then they will be able to observe what they have grown under the microscopes to get a better view of the bacteria. They will be able to track and chart how fast their bacteria is growing. They will use the Glo Germ to simulate the spread of infectious diseases like the COVID-19 virus that has caused the pandemic we see today.
