This listening center will allow students to have a designated area that they can use to listen to stories. This helps them to build their fluency and vocabulary. They will learn to follow along while seeing and listening to the words. I chose a multicultural listening center to differentiate for the diverse student population we have. This will allow us to bridge the gap with students that are English language learners. The listening center will also help students that have learning exceptionalities to build on their language, reading and listening skills. The seating gives the students a different place that is conducive for learning.
