This project is a part of the Hispanic & Latinx Heritage Month celebration because it supports a Latino teacher or a school where the majority of students are Latino.

My Project

Scholars work hard in the classroom and need to release some energy during recess! Winter in Michigan can be a whole lot of fun if you have the right gear. Thanks to many donors, my scholars have what they need as far as hats, gloves, scarves, and coats. However, there is no place to dry out their gear after first recess! No one wants to put on cold, wet gear to go out for second and third recesses. Please help us get drying racks, clothespins, and an electric heater to help alleviate this wet winter problem.
