My Project

As an academic specialist, I am currently serving 156 Kindergarten through Fifth Grade children. My goal is to have total class participation as much as possible so that I can elevate student learning throughout the school day. By having an individual Write and Wipe board, each and every student will be able to work out a math problem or work in literacy practice at the same time.

Dry erase Write and Wipe Boards are engaging tools in the classroom that can be used daily by each and every student either privately, at a small group guided setting, or in a whole group instructional setting.

There are times throughout the school day that students would be able to utilize these Write and Wipe boards. Write and Wipe boards would enable me to see exactly how students are working out a problem, developing a written response answer, creating a graphic organizer, and more. They would allow students the ability to conference about each others' work and have collaborative discussions on academic topics in reading, writing and mathematics. Write and Wipe boards would allow students to easily share their work and thoughts with classmates, all while being environmentally responsible and using less paper. These boards will be housed at each student's personal work space for easy access.

By donating to our project, you will not only help to improve and increase student attention and focus, you will ultimately help to increase my students' academic progress and help them learn that there are other tools, in learning, that we can use other than paper and pencils.
