My students need the Sticky Dry Erase surface in order to convert my current older board to one that will actually erase and students can see with Science illustrations that I write on it.
My students are mostly 9th grade students, who come from a variety of backgrounds and learning abilities. They benefit from hearing and seeing the information taught. They also benefit from using manipulatives. Most students in my classroom are middle-ability students who are active within their school environment. They may participate in Robotics, the band, or a sport.
The students are mostly college-bound students, who value education and enjoy coming to school.
They are polite and respectful of the district and its staff.
My Project
The Dry Erase Surface will be applied to the current board, which currently does not allow the marker to erase from it, or chalk to write on it.
With this product, students will be able to record their data, and share results from laboratory experiments on the board for the entire class to see.
It will be an easy clean up at the end of every day as well. Multiple colors can be used on this board so that the teacher can illustrate molecules, reactions, or Biology topics. Our monthly notebook checklist can also be written on this dry erase surface so that students can maintain their notebooks. They will be able to see the notebook list, even if they sit in the back of the room, with the dry erase surface and markers that I hope to receive.
