PS/IS 41's Djembe Orchestra program, now in its 6th year, has grown by leaps and bounds. To take it to the next level, students need to be exposed to professional performances. "Drumstruck" is a hands-on experience based on African drumming techniques. This off-Broadway inter-active African drum production starts with a drum on every seat. Students get to play along with professionals in an exhiliarating showcase of their own skills, while learning new ones. We would like to send 18 individuals to this special performance.
