My students need drum sticks to make beautiful music! We have a wonderful assortment of drums, but lack proper sticks to play them.

My Students
My students love to make music! Exploring melodies on the instruments is an integral part of our hands-on music curriculum.
Through playing easily accessible instruments like guitars, ukuleles, xylophones and drums, students develop their sense of pitch and rhythm, increasing their musical ability.
They learn teamwork and experience the power of being part of an ensemble.
You can "show and tell" a student about music, but when we allow them to become involved, that is when real learning begins and a love of music is born.
My Project
We are blessed to have many instruments in our music room. Many have been donated and we need proper sticks to play our drums and mallet instruments.
Mallets and Drumsticks are necessary for our students to be able to show off what they are learning.
We say the rhythms, then we use body percussion (claps, snaps, pats, and stamps) to feel the rhythms, and then we put the rhythms on to the instruments.
Working together as a group and playing complimentary rhythms prepares our students to become successful musicians and citizens of our musical world. Where would we be without music?
